« Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend. »

« Fantastic trip with family. Lots of walking and days out. Tideswell is lovely. Lots of pubs, a cafe and a couple of restaurants.Also a Coop in village and a couple of fish and chip shops. House is ideally placed. Easy parking and everything you need in cottage. Would love to go back. »

« A lovely quiet house. Beautifully clean and well provisioned. Some lovely touches such as boxes of toys for the little one! A quick walk into town for a lovely Sunday roast at The Rising Sun! Very convenient for a wedding at Duddon Mill! »

« The accommodation was very clean and modern-looking. Its situation is ideal, very quiet yet handy for Sainsburys, the restaurants of Didsbury and the many parks in the area and away from the busy main road into Manchester. The kitchen/diner/living space was on the small side for a family of 3 boisterous children.but they enjoyed themselves nevertheless. »

« We enjoyed our short stay at the barn. The host Jackie was very friendly and kindly allowed us the use of a field to run the dogs, which we (and they) appreciated very much. There are also lovely walks from the property and Dovedale is only a short drive away. We would definitely return if we are ever up this way again. Thank you. »

« Lack of communication, misleading advert, shared bathroom filthy, kitchenette is difficult to find no signage. Difficult to gain access to the property »

« House was very large, bedrooms where spacious & bedding was clean & fresh, kitchen had lots of utensils & crockery but was short of forks, spoke to host & more was supplied quickly, location is fantastic, with lots of lovely walks, there are a few thing that could do with a bit of maintenance ie; a few door hinges need fixing »

« The place was quite small and very old fashioned, advertised as having a kitchen but that was outside and round a corner and none of the appliances worked and it was ill-equipped, I would not stay here and again and would not recommend it to anyone. Also quite expensive considering the standard »
