At first glance this property is decent, however after just a few minutes during unpacking and meal prep it became appreant that this property is not kept up to even the most basic level of cleanliness, and had we access to cleaning supplies we would have performed a cleaning prior to going to bed. The microwave was dirty inside and the glass cabinets above were covered in grease. It was obvious that the vacuum only visited the most obvious areas. There were random bottle caps on the floor and empty chip bags under the bed, and the downstairs sofa reeked of spilled beer so bad that it was unusable. In the listing, there is clearly a photo of hot tub, which appears for no reason other than to make you think it is an amenity, but it is not. Classic bait and switch. LInens were provided at the most scarce amount allowable. There were no extra towels so if you wanted a second towel for a 5 day stay or you wanted two towels to wash and dry your hair in a turbin would would be unable to unless you packed an extra towel from home. When we informed him that the front door could not lock as the batteries were dead he told us to replace the batteries. This proved ineffective as after replacing the batteries at our own expense we didn't have the code to reset the lock. We were unable to lock the front door for most of our stay. Only on our last day did Tony send someone to repair it so that it could be locked as we exited the property. The remote controls for the fan in the main room, and the front bedroom were inop and we opted to not replace the A23 batteries. As a person that appreciates the conservation of resources, I found the requirement to sleep with the windows open to be too noisy to get a good nights rest. Additionally, this property does not have a recycle bin. The kind neigbors let us put our recycyling in theirs. As far as I am concerned this shows such a lack of respect for our belongings, a blatent community and caring.
