"The lady that checked us in was very friendly."

"Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to the cleanliness and condition of the room. The couch had visible stains, one of the pillows had burn holes, and the bedding was ripped and damaged. On top of that, basic items like soap were not provided. For the price paid, we expected a much cleaner and better-maintained room. Hopefully management addresses these issues for future guests."

"We recently stayed at The Read House hotel in Chattanooga and were very disappointed by how a serious cleanliness issue was handled. Ou our first evening, we found a live cockroach in our room. We killed it and immediately called the front desk. Someone to pick up the tissue with the bug, without saying a word and left. We never received an apology, follow-up or any acknowledgement afterward. At checkout, we mentioned the incident again to a different staff member, and she didn't react or apologize either, which lead us to believe that this was not an isolated incident and that the hotel staff is aware of the issue. For a hotel in this price range, we expect at least a basic acknowledgment of the situation and some reassurance that it would be addressed. This experience really affected our impression of the hotel."
