8/10 Good

"The property has a nice location, with a flat path directly to the beach, diminished only by the presence of some burrs along the way. The room is well maintained but dated and suffers from some peculiarities. The layout is dominated by a spiral staircase that leads up to the surprisingly open bunk loft and master bedroom. For some reason the surface of the stairs is a pebbly aggregate surface that is unpleasant to walk on in bare feet. The rectangle just inside the entryway has that same surface. Some guests may not appreciate the fact that the bathroom is downstairs - a long winding walk from the bedroom area. The kitchen is well appointed but dated. Overall, a nice place to stay if you don’t mind the quirks."

"This property is well located right on the main drag and a quick drive to the beach. And literally, you can drive right on the beach and park. The property is interesting. It was clearly really nice at one point and is still clean and well located. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. There was a huge indoor pool but the hot tub wasn't working which was unfortunate. We used this as a quick stop on our way to the western side of Olympic NP. It was a great stay overall."

"Our stay at The GG was PERFECT! Staff, property, room and amenities were amazing! The coziest stay away from home! Can't imagine the chaos the ocean shores community puts up with during 4th of July weekend, so a huge thank you for the wonderful hospitality during our stay! Even stayed an extra night! Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you, GG!"
