Five-minute walk to an uncrowded, spacious beach. Three blocks north is South Cocoa Beach village with a surfer vibe downtown area. Two blocks to take the kayaks out on the Banana River canal. \*\*\*\*New Addition: FREE access to Cosmik Tiki Heated Pool, indoor game room, bathrooms, and showers, five blocks from the house and right on the beach!\*\*\*\* Relax on the screened-in enclosed deck or jump in the hot tub! Enjoy games, a fire pit, and hammocks. The kitchen includes a coffee/tea bar and a waffle maker. The comfortable beds and relaxing living room make this the perfect getaway. Our family loves staying here, and here’s why: comfortable beds, reclining leather sofas, a screened-in porch with a hot tub, cruiser bikes, fishing, a large fenced-in backyard for dogs with beach dog hours, and no high-rises on the beach—just large dunes and homes. Each part of the home has its own charm. The living room features a large Roku-enabled TV, a comfy couch, and a table for six. The master bedroom has a King bed, a Roku 55" TV, books, and USB plug-ins for devices, plus a massage chair for relaxation. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and Roku TV. The third bedroom has a trundle bed with two twin beds and a pull-out couch. The kids will love the small pool table, games, and the Ms. PacMan and Galaga arcade! Outside, everything you need for the beach is right by the door. The front screened-in porch has a hot tub and sitting area. In the backyard, you can play games, relax in the hammock, eat at the large table, and enjoy the fire pit. You’ll find two hammocks, a complimentary ocean kayak, a two-person kayak, two inflatable kayaks, two paddleboards, foam surfboards, and beach supplies. Each kayak has a simple transport system to carry them two blocks to the ocean or Indian River. You can also enjoy the arcade, hot tub, small pool table, shared grill, and fishing rods. This is a duplex with its own entrance and private outdoor area. We bought this property to enjoy walks around the area. The Banana River is two blocks away, perfect for fishing from the dock. The beach is also two blocks away, with friendly neighborhoods in between—great for walking and taking in the beauty of the area. You have several ways to get around: drive your own car and use the designated parking space, or take the trolley from Space Coast Area Transit, just one block away. Check the schedule and pricing online. Stellar Transport provides non-emergency medical and handicap transportation in Brevard County for appointments, events, and airport trips. For trips to Cocoa Beach Pier or downtown, you can take a taxi or use Uber/Lyft. For bike rentals, visit A1A Beach Rentals for beach cruisers, hybrid/road bikes, and electric bikes, along with a bike route map. Feel free to ask about getting around. This duplex has no shared spaces. The property has all you need for a getaway, and we really enjoyed that the property owner shared equipment with us, such as boogie boards, skim boards, beach carts, chairs, etc. Also loved that we were able to bring our dog. He gave us meticulous instructions, sent recommendations of places to eat, and encouraged us to use the surf boards and house amenities. Brian was an AMAZING host! Quick to respond to any question or concern and really thought of EVERYTHING a family could want or need on a vacation. The house was very clean and convenient to downtown Cocoa Beach. My favorite part of our vacation was riding our bikes to the beach and restaurants nearby. We had an incredible stay at the Hammock Hideaway in Cocoa Beach, FL. There are so many activities included in the rental. We made use of the hammocks, kayaks, surf boards, fishing poles and so much more! Brian is the best host we have ever had any where we have stayed at. The home is stocked full of everything you could need for a beach vacation. It’s the perfect place to stay for a long family trip or even just a quick stay before hopping on one of the local cruise ships. I can’t imagine staying at a hotel. Here you have even the beach towels and life jackets provided for you! It is so close the the beach! Brian had great recommendations for local activies. There is so much to do within walking distance or you can use the bikes they provided. The only regret I had was not booking for longer! The property was clean and well maintained and the host was exceptional. He communicated very well in advance of our stay providing information about the rental and even videos to show us around. If there was anything I needed during the stay, he responded quickly. The rental was walking distance to town/restaurants/bars and to the beach and included all the beach toys you would need. We really enjoyed the boogie boards, surf boards, skim boards, beach cruisers, and kayaks! He even had beach towels available. The backyard was amazing (very large and great for the dogs). While I would recommend this property for some, there are a few things I would like to have known: 1\. It was advertised as an "entire house"; however, it is a duplex (with a shared wall). I had not seen that mentioned in the reviews or the description prior to our stay and had I known, I would not have booked this. My understanding is that VRBO doesn't have an option for "duplex", but I would have liked to have seen something in the description. I know now to ask in advance. 2\. It is very small even just for three of us (especially the bathroom). 3\. While it is walking distance to the beach (about two blocks), you have to cross two very busy streets with fast-moving traffic and there are no signals or crosswalks. We visited the beach everyday, as it was a two block walk. I grew up in CB so I’m familiar with the area.. the location is prime for getting to all the restaurants and beach.. loved that we had the opportunity to use surfboards, bikes , hammock and all the outdoor amenities.. only thing is right now the mosquitoes are awful and we couldn’t enjoy the huge backyard because we were eaten alive..other than that great place. ##### Lacey L.
