Five-minute walk to an uncrowded, spacious beach. Three blocks north is South Cocoa Beach village with a surfer vibe downtown area. Two blocks to take the kayaks out on the Banana River canal. \*\*\*\*New Addition: FREE access to Cosmik Tiki Heated Pool, indoor game room, bathrooms, and showers, five blocks from the house and right on the beach!\*\*\*\* Relax on the screened-in enclosed deck or jump in the hot tub! Enjoy games, a fire pit, and hammocks. The kitchen includes a coffee/tea bar and a waffle maker. The comfortable beds and relaxing living room make this the perfect getaway. Our family loves staying here, and here’s why: comfortable beds, reclining leather sofas, a screened-in porch with a hot tub, cruiser bikes, fishing, a large fenced-in backyard for dogs with beach dog hours, and no high-rises on the beach—just large dunes and homes. Each part of the home has its own charm. The living room features a large Roku-enabled TV, a comfy couch, and a table for six. The master bedroom has a King bed, a Roku 55" TV, books, and USB plug-ins for devices, plus a massage chair for relaxation. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and Roku TV. The third bedroom has a trundle bed with two twin beds and a pull-out couch. The kids will love the small pool table, games, and the Ms. PacMan and Galaga arcade! Outside, everything you need for the beach is right by the door. The front screened-in porch has a hot tub and sitting area. In the backyard, you can play games, relax in the hammock, eat at the large table, and enjoy the fire pit. You’ll find two hammocks, a complimentary ocean kayak, a two-person kayak, two inflatable kayaks, two paddleboards, foam surfboards, and beach supplies. Each kayak has a simple transport system to carry them two blocks to the ocean or Indian River. You can also enjoy the arcade, hot tub, small pool table, shared grill, and fishing rods. This is a duplex with its own entrance and private outdoor area. We bought this property to enjoy walks around the area. The Banana River is two blocks away, perfect for fishing from the dock. The beach is also two blocks away, with friendly neighborhoods in between—great for walking and taking in the beauty of the area. You have several ways to get around: drive your own car and use the designated parking space, or take the trolley from Space Coast Area Transit, just one block away. Check the schedule and pricing online. Stellar Transport provides non-emergency medical and handicap transportation in Brevard County for appointments, events, and airport trips. For trips to Cocoa Beach Pier or downtown, you can take a taxi or use Uber/Lyft. For bike rentals, visit A1A Beach Rentals for beach cruisers, hybrid/road bikes, and electric bikes, along with a bike route map. Feel free to ask about getting around. This duplex has no shared spaces. The family loved the Pac-Man game console and various other table games provided. We played a little yard mini golf and mini pool table game too. The home was indeed walking distance to the beach and many local food/drink locations. Everything in the listing was exactly how we found it. We especially loved the ping pong table!We were please with how engaged and responsive Brian was through the entire process. He gave us meticulous instructions, sent recommendations of places to eat, and encouraged us to use the surf boards and house amenities. Our teenagers were very excited with all is the things on site such as fishing poles, bikes, surf boards, etc, and I appreciated the beach towels, coffee machine, and space! If you get a chance, I highly recommend you book a dolphin tour or boating experience with Brian! He is very friendly, and he truly made our trip special on the boat tour! ##### Abby B. We really enjoyed the location, as it is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The backyard is awesome. We made a fire in the fire pit. The property has all you need for a getaway, and we really enjoyed that the property owner shared equipment with us, such as boogie boards, skim boards, beach carts, chairs, etc. Also loved that we were able to bring our dog. We had an incredible stay at the Hammock Hideaway in Cocoa Beach, FL. There are so many activities included in the rental. We made use of the hammocks, kayaks, surf boards, fishing poles and so much more! Brian is the best host we have ever had any where we have stayed at. The home is stocked full of everything you could need for a beach vacation. It’s the perfect place to stay for a long family trip or even just a quick stay before hopping on one of the local cruise ships. I can’t imagine staying at a hotel. Here you have even the beach towels and life jackets provided for you! It is so close the the beach! Brian had great recommendations for local activies. There is so much to do within walking distance or you can use the bikes they provided. The only regret I had was not booking for longer! We hope to come back again in the future and we definitely will recommend it to all of our friends and family. ##### Britni L.
