This beautiful, detached Grade II-listed farmhouse, dates back to the 1700s and has been lovingly restored featuring fabulous artwork, furniture and so much space to be part of a large party but also be able to get away from it all. As you enter this property you will find yourself in the unusual lobby with stone flooring which features the original property entrance. This property's eco credentials include all heating and hot water produced by a ground source heat pump and a natural water supply from a borehole. As you walk through the hallway you will find the contemporary well equipped kitchen with some original features which are a special edition to this room. The large island has seating so you can sit and chat with the chef of the party and enjoy a glass of wine while you wait for dinner! There is access out onto the raised terrace from the kitchen; this offers a great place to enjoy al fresco dining on a sunny evening. Off the kitchen area you will find the formal dining room which is decorated in dark tones; it is very atmospheric and is the perfect room for enjoying a special occasion! Off the dining room, there is an en-suite super-king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and oak flooring. Head back through to the kitchen, and at the bottom of the stairs leading to the first floor you will find a cosy snug with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. It offers a great place to get away from the crowd, read a good book or watch your favourite film. Head up the traditional stone staircase which has been blended with the oak design to the first floor. Here you will find a spacious family bathroom with a lovely bath, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the area. There are two super-king-size bedrooms on this floor both have fabulous views and one has an en-suite shower room. Heading back downstairs into the hallway, across from the kitchen, go down the staircase into the original hay barn where you will find two more bedrooms. Choose from a twin bedroom that has direct access out onto the garden, with a bathroom next door, and a king-size bedroom at the end of the hall. The lounge is up a flight of stairs, and this room offers the most amazing space to relax and socialise with friends and family. The gallery library features a piano, a high vaulted exposed beamed ceiling, oak flooring and huge pieces of artwork hanging on the walls, making this room very special!
