"No one should ever stay here . Ever. I have spent the last 42 years in the travel industry, traveling over 4 million miles and staying in hotels in 40+ countries and can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience of my life. To start.... I asked for a quiet room away from the elevator and the desk agent told me "all of our rooms are far from the elevator" ---- huh? So what is between the elevators and the rooms, the wheat fields of Kansas? I was given a room right next to the elevator. The door was open and the room was not made up. We went back to the lobby and asked for a new room and were given one (begrudgingly). It was far from the elevator an was a room with an air conditioner slightly louder than a jet. In 80 degree temperature we had to leave the AC off all night -- nice touch! The next day, on checkout, I inquired about Tru's make it right guarantee. I was told that the only way to do this was to talk to the manager in person and she would not be in the hotel until the next day. So...... if your stay is bad we may refund you your money but only if you agree to stay in our hellhole for an additional night. When I pointed out that this was not the way guarantees should work, some woman who would give me neither her name or her title barged in. When I started explaining the situation she interrupted me multiple times. When I asked her to please not interrupt she accused me of "being aggressive and walked away. DO NOT STY HERE EVER!!"
