« Good base for accessing Lake District. »

« We had a brilliant stay at Ritson Wharf. The hosts were great, informing us of places to eat and go to visit. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It was decorated really tastefully to high standard. We would recommend it and hopefully will visit again !😊 »

« We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so...

The USP is that the owners encourage you to put out bird food (provided) and if you do you'll be rewarded with visits from all kinds of birds - including some pretty tame pheasants who aren't...

Welcome pack very appreciated, teas, coffee and lovely biscuits also supplied two dish washer tablets, two tea towels and a kithchen roll, however you will need washing machine products and washing up liquid, as only a very...
