"This home was wonderful. My grandsons (2,4, 6) loved watching the deer and turkeys come visit in the morning. The outdoor games were great to keep them occupied. The hot tub was maintained well. Some thing everyone talks about…the road. It’s maintained by the Forest Service, they don’t have money, so this isn’t going to change. It’s wash boarded. It’s bumpy. BUT Auntie Katie was able to get her Buick up there. It’s possible. You just have to go slow. My daughter laughed and said it’s bad enough that you would think twice about going down, but you would still go down to Prescott. This house is perfect for a long weekend or even a week. Just have your menus planned, and get your groceries before you get up there. There is so much to do there that you probably don’t want to go into Prescott. You can see the fire watch tower, we went snooping up there. Found a picnic spot, stood at the base of the tower, and hiked around a trail. We went to Goldwater lake and ran around there for a bit. The boys had a lot of fun and want to stay again. This house is a great place to stay. "

"The General Store is a great place to enjoy the cool pines. If you are a hiker the location is excellent for getting out and enjoying the trails. It is 1.5 miles to Goldwater Lake and there are plenty of options for hikes from the front door. The yard is perfect for the dogs and the back porch is a great place to relax. The house is comfortable and has plenty of room to enjoy it with family and friends. The only downsides are that it is on a corner that can be busy at times. And I do wish the bedroom windows would open so you can enjoy the cool evening breeze.I look forward to returning again."

"This cabin is amazing! Candice is very kind, communicative, helpful and quick to respond. The first thing we noticed was how exceptionally clean and maintained this cabin is. This place is fully stocked and has everything you could need for cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the living room or back patio. All of the appliances are brand new, the beds & pillows are comfy, bath towels are oversized and soft, the jacuzzi style tub was relaxing, and all the rooms had their own large size TV’s. This place is perfect. We loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and plenty of room on the back patio for family dinners. We will definitely be back! "
