The house has many great places to take in and enjoy the beautiful lagoon. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the paddleboards and kayaks. The house couldn't hold up to the weather we experienced. One day during the rain, the kitchen was a quarter-filled with a puddle of water. The next day it rained harder and more water came in. As we were clearing that, the power went off. A nearby line had come down, which clearly wasn't the fault of the property. The generator couldn't handle much draw though. We turned off all the lights and all 5 of us slept in one room with the A/C to minimize power draw. That seemed to work until the generator ran out of fuel in the middle of the night. We left a day early because it seemed the power would be out for awhile. The house manager was excellent before and throughout all this. Very responsive and doing everything he could with the resources at hand."
