"What can I say, this was one of my best VRBO experiences ever. We stayed in the cabin "Joy" and it was a joy. It was very clean and inviting and dog friendly. I appreciated the fenced in yard for my puppy to be able to run loose. It was magical having the miniature horses come by for pets. The hot tub was great when the cool weather came in and out host, Greg, was very responsive helping me go from air conditioning to heater. He also assisted in extending our stay one more day. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and full size appliances were a plus. I will definitely come back to City on a Hill!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay!!! The deer were shy but we definitely think they liked the 3 bags of corn,carrots and lettuce we left them! Everything was great! We wanted to try the hot tub, but is was super cold!!! NEXT TIME, FOR SURE!!!"

"Very clean place! Also very cute. The property is great and has some communal space. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the booking process took place off vrbo. It required a security check with my driver's license and a selfie, which felt invasive. However, the stay was beautiful, the host was communicative,and it's so close to Fredericksburg. Lots of towels."

"It would have been nice to be able to speak to someone about the minor issues we had instead of posting a problem on the check in page and wait for an AI response that never came when we were at the facility.We would have appreciated k-cups for the coffee maker and a box of Klennex in the living room. There was a lot of music noise really late Saturday night. Annoying!"

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, spacious, and very clean. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality time away.The only minor issue we had was with the gate code, as you have to press the buttons pretty hard for it to work. Other than that, everything was absolutely splendid!We will definitely be coming back, especially during the winter. We can’t wait to roast s’mores, enjoy the cozy weather, and relax in the hot tub again. Highly recommend this cabin! "
