The property was clean, the beds were comfy, and it was in walking distance from the United Center which was nice. But parking is a joke. The garage on the property was completely full before check in. If a hotel offers parking, the garage should be big enough to accommodate all the guests. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were okay, potatoes were cold and bland, and I took one bite of a pancake and immediately spit it out into my napkin. Tasted like a McDonalds pancake that was left out for a week. There was one guy at the front desk checking us in and his customer service skills were not good. It was clear he didn’t want to be there. He was just kinda sassy and unpleasant.
I had a much better experience at the Hyatt House at the medical district. That one is really close to United center too, it’s much bigger, bar/lounge is nicer, breakfast is good, parking is much easier and it’s just better overall. I only stayed at the one in West Loop this time just because it was a little cheaper, but never again. I’d rather pay more and stay somewhere else.
