The Stamford Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great price for a hotel right in downtown Stamford. Pet friendly (though I didn’t hear any barking). Friendly, attentive staff. Clean, comfortable bed."
"Our stay with Linda was great. The property was just as described and was very clean and spacious. They provide everything you would need for your stay. Linda communicated with me from the days leading up to our stay and throughout our stay. The only one problem we had was the master bedroom A/C wasn't working on a very hot day. Linda came herself to look at the problem as soon as it was communicated with her, but unfortunately it was a sunday and couldn't get fixed before we left. Other than that, everyone had a great time and will be back again for future large gatherings."

"George was a wonderful host and so responsive with all my messages. The area was beautiful and my kids loved the fishing and kayaking. Every morning they woke up and went fishing and anytime we came back to the property, they went fishing and kayaking until it was too dark. There were so many adorable places amongst the property to sit and relax. The rooms had two king size beds, which was fine for them to share for the (2) nights we stayed. Everything was clean and fresh. If I’m ever in the area again, I would stay here."
Fantastic 1-Bedroom Near Downtown Stamford, Pet-Friendly!
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay. The dead end street was nice and the neighbors were all friendly. The area felt safe. You are within walking distance to great food spots and driving distance to downtown area. The only complaint I have is the TVs are outdated and should be updated. No one uses cable boxes anymore and the remote for that TV only turned the TV on but nothing else worked but the box. "
