« Cottage was really nice to stay at for our 10 day England trip. Bathrooms being updated was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Being positioned on a golf course off the main road made for quiet nights. The bistro next door with the included 10% discount for staying at the cottage was excellent for breakfast and evening drinks. Perfect little picturesque and quaint cottage. »

« The property was really beautiful and everything we needed had been supplied for us. The tent was clean, cute and had such a fun vibe. The outdoor kitchen and bathroom were so fun and made it feel more like camping! All instructions were super clear and it made for a really easy trip. Charlie was really quick to reply to all messages which made the trip easy and worry-free! My only feedback is that there were stinging nettles around the hot tub steps! « Everything was as listed….the log burner was an added feature which we were happy to use on rainy days. The location was really goid… Colchester close and historically very interesting. North of the city was Constable country… nice walks and interesting info on the artists. South we enjoyed Tiptree museum, and the Salt marshes for walking and photography. Ovreall it was everything we wished for “ »

« A lovely, comfortable, well equipped, cottage. A perfect location, with plenty to do. Lots of useful info and recommendations from Jo, the owner. Lovely walks with the dog...a co-op just seconds away in case you forgot something. We had a gorgeous Sunday roast at the Yachtsmans Arms...Maggie, my hungry springer, was welcomed too and even got her own lunch! I totally recommend a trip here... »

"La chambre d'hôtel dans les combles était sommaire. Elle était identique aux photos de l'annonce. Cependant, il y avait beaucoup de points négatifs dans cette chambre. La literie n'était pas confortable (matelas à ressorts qu'on sentait donc mal de dos assuré, matelas tout taché ! Il est indispensable que la direction mette une housse de protection sur leurs matelas !). La porte de la cabine de douche est bloquée et ne se ferme pas entièrement. Attention à la double fenêtre au dessus du lit qui peut se déboiter et qui peut être difficile à remettre. J'ai allumé la tv par curiosité mais je n'ai jamais pu l'éteindre avec la télécommande sauf en la débranchant. 🤔 Le ménage était fait dans notre chambre le matin même quand nous y étions présents... La femme de ménage était obligée de passer au minimum l'aspirateur sur la moquette malgré qu'on lui ait dit s'il était possible de ne pas faire le ménage dans notre chambre. Le convertisseur d'eau chaude est capricieux. Après que j'ai pris ma douche la veille au soir, mon amie n'a pas eue d'eau chaude le lendemain matin au réveil... Le plus : le nécéssaire de toilette, le petit coffre-fort (non utilisé), les casiers en bois pour ranger nos affaires. La couette sur le lit. Les draps du lit étaient propres. Le prix du séjour était très convenable pour la localisation (gare à coté). J'ai connu bien pire en terme de satisfaction de prestation mais le matelas du lit c'est quelque chose !"

"Nous avons l'habitude de séjourner au Hampton by Hilton de Stansted avant de prendre notre vol. C'est toujours une excellente expérience : chambre très spacieuse et impeccable, petit déjeuner varié et servi dès 4h, ambiance calme, personnel agréable et surtout la proximité du terminal que l'on peut rejoindre à pieds. En résumé, tout était parfait, comme d'habitude!"
