"The place was wonderful from the staff, to the location on the island, to the cleanliness. We loved that even though the place is old (as everything is on the island) the rooms are updated and bright and comfortable. it had everything we wanted in a relaxing place."

"The hotel staff was very king and helpful. The room was very clean and well kept, as were the grounds. It was nice to have soap available for both the sink and the shower, but it would be even better if there was also a small bottle of shampoo, but that was not an inconvenience."

Waterfront Inn - Mackinaw City

"We ended up getting the lakefront room with the knotted pine walls. The water view is def charming. The towels are thin, no iron or ironing board, the lamps shades are broken but they work. The wall lampshades in our room were not secured properly to the wall. The room is good enough for a quick weekend stay esp if you’re spending most of the day in the island. Front desk staff is friendly. Coffee in carafes in the lobby and snacks for sale in a plexiglass box."

"Our room was quaint and very clean, the pool was a great temperature, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after walking all day, and the attached brewery/restaurant was very good! I would definitely stay here again!"

"Everything was excellent. While we'd hoped for a larger room, which was a challenge days before the Labor Day weekend, the room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Staff friendly. Overall a good experience at a fair price. An unexpected surprise. Keep up the good work."
