« 2 of the windows did not lock, screens were ripped or missing, host did not reply to 2 separate phone calls from VRBO and 2 others since then, there was a loose board at the entrance, the stove was gross, there was no bedroom door on one of the bedrooms, we couldn't figure out the heater (it ended up getting extremely hot before we did), there was no hot water. In addition, VRBO has refused our request for a full refund. »

« The location, Lake, dock and view were all wonderful. However, the amenities in the cottage were not up to par. The mattresses were extremely soft, the bed linens were extremely scratchy and uncomfortable, the towels were poor. We could tell from the pictures that the furniture would be old, but the pull out was not even functional. It closed up when you laid on it and you had to sleep on it backwards to prevent it from collapsing. There was absolutely zero padding, and you could feel the spring...

« Absolutely beautiful, clean cottage! It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. Our 2 night stay wasn't long enough! We loved how close the beach was, and how we could see the water from the bonfire pit and the house. You get to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset and stargazing on the beach on the clear nights. It's amazing how many stars you can see. We didn't get to see any freighters the few days we were there, but on the last foggy morning we could hear the fog horns blow as they went...

« This place was perfect for our little family of 4\. It is right on the water and my kids really enjoyed swimming and playing on the dock. The marina is just a few minute walk from the cottage. We were able to walk there for ice-cream and fishing (we of course asked the people that worked there for permission and went after they were closed).The host/owners are so kind they brought treats for the kiddos and even lend bikes to my kids to use while we were there. Thank you so much, we had a blast! »

« It was a fun location for 14 friends. Nice common spaces for gathering. Some issues: the lock codes did not work and it is impossible to call anyone, I was texting with someone who finally gave me a master code. Lighting in Cottage 2 was lacking. Large size guests had difficulty with the showers in the cottages »
