« This was the most I have ever paid for such a mediocre hotel room. Carpet was stained and ripped, mattresses were old and you could feel the springs, there was an unidentified black stain above the shower, etc. I do not recommend it »

« Stepping into a time capsule! This place DESPERATELY needs attention!!! Peeling paint, locks and windows don’t work, dust and dirt everywhere! There was even dog hair on my bedding when I arrived… I’m allergic to animal dander. Even the jacuzzi tub in the room had left residue on the tip of the bubbles when filled. Shower had hair in it still. The windowsill on the bay window was FULL OF DEAD BUGS! The dirt and dust on the outside of the banister made me question if housekeeping even cleaned...

« I could not put clothes in the drawers, there was food crumbs in there. The shower curtain was moldy half way up. They would not correct it. The toilet was not screwed to the flood tightly. Listed as non smoking, it is not. Very Smokey and marijuana was smelly. Pool was green. I asked about the breakfast and was told that she didn’t know anyone was staying there. Not clean at all. Blow dryer did not work. I would NEVER go back! »

« There could be more outside trash cans Dogs staying there is fine. I had a dog with me but people let their dog crap and left it everywhere. Also smoking outside the doors and cigarette butts all over ground and trash thrown in ground. Disposable coffee or soda cups. I had doggy bags with me at all times because dogs crap. « This was our first time at Lakeview and we were impressed all around. The property is beautifully located on the lake with fantastic views. The motel room was rustic and quaint, perfect for me and my 2 teenagers. The owners of the property were extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay here. The variety of places to stay on the property make it a good fit for anyone, and the playground, grills, picnic tables and pool make it great for families too. »
