"Really cool old hotel in downtown Spokane. Loved the open space for hanging out in the middle of the hotel. Very comfortable room, bathroom was modernized and clean. About a fifteen or twenty minute walk to the carousel/park. The hotel was on the edge of downtown, near a rundown area with homeless encampment but felt safe enough to walk toward downtown and the park."

"Our first time here and we will be back! I forgot to get the front desk lady's name who checked us in the night of but she was very helpful, informative, and kind. I will say it seemed like they had just given our room a quick clean before we got there. We found a blue cleaning glove on the table (we were so tired we didn't care), checked the beds to make sure they were clean & no bugs! Everyone talks about the close parking which was why we also got it but its not exactly a "closed" gated parking spot per say, only one area of the parking was gated off which was fine. Yes there were a lot of homeless people but they respected and rarely went inside which was nice. I will say the shower needed more cleaning and attention to detail as some parts were seemed to not be cleaned well. Breakfast was good, your regular waffle, eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, & toast they also had coffee, juice and milk! We liked it and will honestly be back!! Checkout was also a breeze."
