Cozy, sprawling lakefront house on cove for family fun and entertaining!

  • This is a family-friendly, cozy lake house with tons of space for the whole family or a group of friends trying to get away from it all! With comfy furniture throughout, a real fireplace, a big screen TV and bar room, a loft with built-in desk, backyard for frisbee or football throwing, large deck with a grill, and dock with four adirondack chairs...you can really do it all here. The quiet cove off the main channel is perfect for swimming and relaxing, while still being right off I-77 and a quick drive to any Mooresville nightlife!

    Please note: while we allow up to 10 overnight guests, there are only 8 spots in beds (king, double, futon, 2 twins). Two couches are also available, or you can bring sleeping bags! Only four spots available for cars, and no gatherings (graduation celebrations, etc) without pre-approval. Thanks!

    Great Memorial Day Weekend

    This is a great place to stay for a long weekend with friends. The house was very clean and everything worked. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time on Lake Norman.

    Location Location Location!

    We have rented this VBRO in the past also and love its cozy feel, easy access to Lake Norman and its location so close to Everything. 3 bedrooms on the main level is key for family and the bar area is such fun for games and catching up after a great day on the lake. We will definitely rent again when family comes to visit Lake Norman.

    Amazing lakehouse!

    We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakehouse! We were in town for the ZMAX 4 Wide and enjoyed the gorgeous views and being able to fish off the dock! Can't beat this rental!!

    We had such a great time for a weekend trip! The owners were very responsive and very helpful. We live in Georgia and met family friends from Virginia there with our children and it was perfect! Highly recommend!

    Great Lake escape

    The house was a very well equipped and perfect location for a getaway to the lake. All necessary utensils and items stocked well in the kitchen and the place was very comfortable and relaxing. Great dock for a day and evening hangout with the kids for the birthday on the lake. Thank you to Robert for a great stay and graduation celebration for my children.

    The location of the lake house and access to Lake Norman was our main focus. The house is an older rental, just know that you need shoes for the deck and dock to avoid splinters.

    House was comfortable and the location was great. Lakefront was a hit for fishing off the dock for catfish. Had a great time and look forward to next year!!

    Wonderful place to gather!

    We stayed here with another family to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We loved the space to hang out both inside and outside, and the kitchen and bar area worked well for some buffet meals. And the owner/manager was very responsive when we had an issue with the key (our own fault!)

    Wonderful stay for Davidson commencement!

    The lake house was near perfect for our purposes for a home base to celebrate our son's graduation from Davidson. The lake house is just 10 minutes from campus. My family including a grandparent very much enjoyed being on the lake. The home itself is rustic and filled with character and was comfortable for our family.

    Cozy place for friends gathering!

    We stayed at the lake house for 3 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday and loved the place. The house had a FULLY stocked kitchen, tons of towels and had a nice set-up that separated the bedrooms from the rest of the house. The bar area was awesome and we spent most of our time in there. There were a couple things that could use a little TLC but overall it was a great place. We would rent again!

    Lake House stay

    We were happy to stay at this house on the lake. Even though we did not use the lake or dock, it was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with convenient access to Charlotte. We went to the Carolina Renaissance Festival and it was a short trip to the event. The house is comfy cozy even if it is a bit dated. It was everything we required for a short weekend.

    Everything was great. The location and right on the lake was perfect. Plenty of room for all of the family . Only thing I found wrong was there was a lot of lightbulbs parked out. But that was no problem.

    Great Location for a Guys Weekend

    We rented the property for our league's fantasy football draft weekend and could not be happier with the house. There was plenty of room our entire group (10 people) with a lot of space on the property for the activities we had planned for the weekend. Everything was as advertised and Robert was also very quick to respond to all of our questions.
