When i went to FO to ask about a room change, the FO staff told me cant confirm it with an attitude that the smoke smell in the room was my problem. I requested for the FO MOD to call me and gave her my feedback. She did better and even confirmed a room change for me later in the evening. 2nd issue was with thr 2nd room. The air-conditioning was central. In the afternoon and evening, the entire room became like an oven. Windows were opened to no avail. When i called down i was told there was nothing they could do and could only offer 2 portable cold air blowers which i took though it offered little reprieve. Hospitality is a full package, but the basics of getting a room right - which is what every guests pays for - should never be compromised.
