It was incredibly refreshing to sit in the hot tub and watch the river and stars. The kitchen was small, but complete with all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasoning we needed. « We had a great visit in Salida, it felt like a home away from home. This house is very spacious and lovely. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We were able to cook some meals and also go out to eat. It was very nice that the owner allows dogs, so we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed the nice sidewalks for walking and the fenced in back yard. Lots of nice shops and restaurants to walk to. Only about 30 minutes to drive Monarch mountain for skiing. »

« This was a super fun location for access to both getting into downtown as well as getting out to the highway and avoiding downtown if desired. We loved the house. It was very roomy and spread out so everyone had their own place to go when privacy was wanted. Being a pet friendly location was also something important to us ranking in the top 2 reasons we stayed here. The hot tub was clean and reached the correct temperature quite easily, providing that extra sense of relaxation and enjoyment...
