The staff were all so friendly and took the time to wish me a happy birthday, there was such a nice personal touch to the customer service. The food and were facilities were great. "Beautiful setting, friendly staff. Room was spacious, bed comfortable with a nice solid mattress. Large shower. Everything spotless.
The only small negative was that the only two point plugs in the room were where the bed lamps were plugged into. In this age most chargers of electronic equipment require a two point plug. The room had sufficient normal three point plugs though, if one had known to bring an adapter.
Breakfast was fantastic.

"A very homely and enjoyable place to stay. Lots of nick nicks like old gramophones are placed around the dining room and reception area which made it an interesting place to stay. Uber drivers have no problem finding the place. Breakfast is a meal fit for a king and puts enough food in your tummy to last most of the day. Host is very friendly and helpful and the place is very clean."

The bathroom is about as compact as you can get and the shower is small - I kept knocking the water mixer to “off” while showering. Quiet considering its location. "Overnight stay before safari - we arrived in the dark after a flight delay and had to leave early so unable to enjoy most of the facilities - but the room was clean, great facilities, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (the receptionist even walked me to the nearest restaurant). Great breakfast. Situated just inside gated estate with high security. Only comment on room is the toilet is inside a frosted glass shower enclosure in the room."
