"We enjoyed our stay at Pepi boutique hotel. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was amazing - probably our best while travelling. Our room felt a bit dated however and things were falling apart. For example the drain vent in the bathroom was broken. The cleaners/hotel clearly just tried to kind of ignore it by “resting” it on top, but if you stood on it, it would come loose - which was easy to do when the bathroom was so small and the drain was right in the centre. The stairs squeaked a lot. And the beds weren’t the greatest in terms of comfort."

"The pictures on the website make this hotel looks spectacular. The room I had did have a hot tub, but it was inside the room. That made it very difficult to take a shower, and actually filling the hot tub would take about an hour, so I never had time to do it. It also uses up a huge amount of space in the room. Check in on the weekend involves being emailed a code as you arrive and a tall staircase not friendly to having large luggage and one person with a bad back. The people who run the property are extremely nice, and the location is very good. The cleaning is excellent, except that twice they left me a sheet and a blanket folded up not put on the bed. There was also an issue with a sticky switch to flush the toilet that was not fixed while I was there. Overall, this is a luxury property, but the way that it is arranged and managed (strange bed making, sticky switch, big staircase with no one to ) makes it four stars rather than five."

"Aripostolos graciously welcomed us to the hotel and gave us much information for sightseeing. Our 2 storey suite was fantastic! Very peaceful,comfortable,private balcony. Central courtyard with small plunge pool and sitting area was delightful!Breakfast was delicious. Adjoining restaurant and bar was very nice.Right in the heart of old Rethymnon with many restaurants and shopping all around us .Thankyou for an amazing stay ! Highly recommended ❤️"
