We saw five moose down the road, we took our kayak to the lake, went fishing and caught some trout, and enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the area. It was a little tough to regulate the temperature in the house with the large wood burning stove but after a couple days of trial and error we figured it out. The hot tub was nicer in person than the photos showed. I would defiantly stay here again. It was a fun location close to the areas that we wanted to be. The cabin is more rustic than we expected for the price- there's no heat in the master bedroom, the hot tub has no jets, there's paint peeking from the walls, and the place doesn't seem to be maintained. It was cozy for us because we're pretty low maintenance, but I think it needs some TLC to be rented at the price it was asking. The location is great (close to snowy range ski area), the hosts are responsive and SO KIND. We enjoyed the rustic-ness of this stay. ##### Tami W. The neighborhood is varied - everything from nice houses to run-down properties. The cabin is typical rustic, and could definitely stand some maintenance or updating - but it worked well for us for the weekend. We used the hottub but couldn't see where the controls were located. Some info on the cabin would be helpful. Overall despite the place being rather dated, we had a nice relaxing stay and enjoyed some great hikes. The price was rather steep we felt.
