Best Western Aladdin Inn

"My wife and I were very excited about how great the breakfast sounded yet when we arrived the breakfast area it was insanely loud and had zero food available due to only 1 cook available! Ridiculous to not have a backup plan! Cook was trying to keep up with only one dish at a time with the hordes of people devouring it instantly!! Needless to say I sat and watched my wife eat minimal egg, minimal sausage and nothing else as I ended up having to go to Macdonald’s for a 10 dollar meal!!"
The Herondale Hotel

"We loved our stay at the Herondale. The property is well-appointed and has a beautiful view and position: just minutes from Astoria, and feels special, remote and secluded. The robes and toiletries are high-end and luxurious, yet the property design is simple and refined. I think for the price, a simple turn-down and replenish service should be included. (we had to ask for this) Note: do NOT forget a bath suit like I did! Very nice hot tub, sauna and cold-plunge. I would highly recommend a stay here!"

"This is the 2nd time we stayed in this beautiful home and we loved it! Amazing view of the Columbia River--I loved watching the changes that occurred with the tide coming in and out. The house was very well appointed. The owner stopped by and we learned he had done most of the woodwork--very impressive! The owners really care about their guests and had a thoughtful gift in the refrigerator (smoked salmon) waiting for us. It was truly a wonderful week!"
