« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! « Reservation non respectée! Le prix a été augmenter lors de notre arrivée. La durée du séjour a été écourtée d'une nuit lors de l'enregistrement. L'hôtel est délabrée et malpropre. la piscine non fonctionnelle. Le hall d'entrée est insalubre et l'odeur est dégoutante! Le personnel est indifférent à respecter les termes de la réservation (pourtant effectuée plus de 7 mois auparavent). Nous avons annulés notre réservation sur place. Endroit fortement déconseillé. »

« Staff was great. The cabin was terrible. The shower head did not work. The staircase was almost impossible the get up and down from the loft unless you were a skinny 10 year old. The parking is very tight. The last night we were there it was 0 degrees and the heater stopped working. I have stayed in numerous hotels there in Blowing Rock and this was the worst. »

« Got eaten up with bed bugs. Kept itching while I was in there for four days and wasn’t sure until I saw my welps that formed on the last day. I got home and my wife took pictures and said they were definitely bed bugs. She’s worked in hotels for years and has seen them countless times. I guess you get what you pay for. Rooms were cheap while others were very high. »

« Berkley (sp?) who checked us in was amazing - the perfect person to welcome a guest! The location was good as it was a short walk to Main Street. »
