A perfect, cute little getaway stay in a small town with amazing scenery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary wine/champagne was an amazing touch to the place. The rooms had a beautiful view by the water and were well kept. The complimentary cookies were AMAZING. I can't stress this enough on how good they were. We asked the staff to leave some aside for us as we weren't going to be around at the time the cookies were placed out, and they were so friendly that they wrote...

Really perfect location of far from the Aquarium, excellent rooms with a fireplace and balcony, complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese. It’s got it all! Next time I’m in Monterey, this is my choice.

Nice locally owned property. kind of funky, well maintained. Carol, day time clerk, went above and beyond. I left a shoe in the room by mistake, called the hotel next day, was told they would look and get back to me that afternoon. Didn't hear back. When I returned home I called again. Reached Carol, explained what happened, she said she would check, she did, found the shoe and made all the arrangements to have it sent to me by UPS. Bravo !!!
