Steps from the finest Cape May Beach and 2 blocks from Washington Street Mall, you can walk to the finest shops, restaurants, and entertainment that Cape May has to offer. When you're not at the beach or in town, relax on one of two front porches, the upper one having water views. When you're not outside, gather at the 9' island in the brand new kitchen. This fully stocked kitchen features 2 full size refrigerators, a Wolf cooktop, 30" oven, and a banquette breakfast nook built from the original antique doors. The open Family Room floor plan allows the 52" Hi Def TV and Blu-ray player to be enjoyed from the kitchen. The Front Room Den has a 40" Flat screen and a comfortable Queen Sleeper Sofa. A true 4 season house, there is central heat and AC, and heated tile floors. A huge 7' X 6' outdoor shower is located out back. Bedroom 1 is up front, second floor with water view, King Bed, coffered ceiling, 42" TV, and 4-piece Bath across the hall with an original claw-foot tub. Bedroom 2 has a Full size bed and large desk. Bedroom 3 is a King Suite with a 3 piece Master Bath including a 6' X 3' custom Marble shower. On the third floor, Bedroom 4 is a King Suite with water views, sitting area, TV, and a 4-piece bath featuring an original claw-foot tub, and a 3' X 5' shower with dual shower heads. Bedrooms 5 & 6 have single trundle beds to sleep 2 in each room. Bedroom 7 has a twin over twin bunk bed. Bedroom 8 has 2 full size beds and a private 3 piece bath. High speed WiFi is provided. The house has 3 king beds which was perfect as we had 3 couples renting and the location to the beach, Washington Street, and Congress Hall was fantastic. Makes getting around on foot very easy. Check windows! The night we arrived, I checked all ground level windows before going to bed and found two of them unlocked. Also had issues locking front door so locked it from the inside and went out the back. Only other issues were the blankets were stained/soiled. Its well appointed, clean, charming, centrally located and roomy enough for everyone! We shopped, we sunned on the beach, we took in the local history, we walked all about and loved every minute of our 4 night stay. If youre looking for that "home away from home"... this is it! Now that we know 4 nights are not enough, we plan to come back. Do not hesitate to book here. David was helpful and accessible, and the house rules are reasonable. My advice to you? Loved the large kitchen/living room area. We cooked, played cards and had karaoke nights. The location is perfect, not too far of a walk to beach. We were worried about parking, there is only one spot for the house. Everyone was able to find street parking close by. We walked everywhere, even the Acme. The owner was very reachable and helped with a few things that came up. (The second frig stopped working) we understood the difficulty in getting someone to take a look at it or replace it because it was a holiday week. Multiple bedrooms allowed us to choose our own rooms. Plus, several had very nice upgraded en suite bathrooms. Hall bathrooms were also roomy & very nice. Close proximity to shops & restaurants allowed us to walk everyday. Metered street parking is available if bringing multiple cars although finding a nearby spot can be a challenge on the weekend in the fall! All in all, The Windsor House provided a welcoming location for visiting Cape May in the fall! ##### Sylvia Diane E. The house was ample in space and the seven of us were more than comfortable. The house is well stocked, with everything you need for a home away from home. We cooked several meals, relaxed on both porches, top floor with an ocean view, and walked the sights in Cape May. What a beautiful trip we will remember for a lifetime. ##### Nancy S. Close to the beach, shopping and all that Cape May has to offer! We were a group of 10 women celebrating our 50th high school reunion. Plenty of room for the group to gather and enough space for everyone to have privacy when needed! The few questions we had for the host were answered promptly. The house is warm and inviting! House was clean, bedrooms were large and an awesome open kitchen / living room floor plan. Easily hosted our family and extended family. Communication with the host was great, responsive & informative. You are right next to the beach and easily walk into town. Front porch was great for morning coffee and nighttime chats. The home is in a great location, easy walk to beach and town! The kitchen and baths have been nicely renovated! Dave was very responsive and easy to work with ahead of our stay. We arrived the weekend after Memorial Day and the property was not ready for the season. The area in back of the house was not usable. The picnic table had not been set up or cleaned and the other seating was in bad shape. The home had been surface cleaned and the kitchen and baths were usable after some clean up. There was heavy dust through out the house on picture frames, lamps, and bed spreads. If the house had been ready for us, this would have been a great place to stay. ##### Patricia M.
