The Boat House Vacation Rental has been a favorite destination for our guests. This home is on one of the widest parts of the river with the most amazing sunrise and moonrise views. Sunset reflections are beyond gorgeous. Imagine yourself sitting on the dock for morning coffee talk and feeling the sun on your face. It truly is the best. Experience why life is better on the water! Inhale the peace of the water as you take in the breathtaking river views from almost every room in this riverfront home! As soon as you arrive, you'll begin to exhale all of your stress as you are drawn to the water through the expansive sliders to the river. The coastal decor throughout the home will beg for you to say "Alexa please play Jimmy Buffett". This lovely home was decorated with items created by artists throughout Florida to complement the light and bright theme. If you want luxury meets island meets comfort then this home is for you. Every piece of furniture was placed with comfort and conversation in mind. Every comfortable bed hosts comfortable mattresses with luxuriously soft linens and fluffy pillows you will simply sink into. No need to bring towels as the home has plenty of thick, resort quality towels as well as large, soft poolside/beach towels. The main floor offers a large primary bedroom with plenty of closet space and drawer space as well and sliding doors out to a private patio to enjoy morning coffee or an after dinner cocktail. The ensuite primary bathroom has a jetted tub, large shower and separate sinks as well as a dressing table. Also on the main floor are two lovely guest rooms each with a queen-size bed, smart TV, large closet and dresser drawers for plenty of storage. The main bathroom servicing these bedrooms is light and bright with a large step in shower. As you take a walk upstairs, you'll notice more river views, and a separate and private area with a large living room and more expansive views. The moonlight makes its way through the cupola and adds another level of relaxation. Open the sliding doors to the private upper deck and view the moonrise or watch the boats and dolphin go by. Beyond the living room is a newly renovated family bedroom complete with a queen size bed as well as two twin bunk beds with adult quality mattresses. The ensuite beautiful bathroom has two vanities and a walk in shower. Make your coffee from here and enjoy on your private deck before joining the rest of the guests on the main floor. There are two gathering living areas on the main floor with plenty of room for catching up or watching your favorite show on the 75” flat screen, Smart TV. If it is the ambiance from a fire you'll looking for, with a quick click on the remote the living room gas fireplace is ready to oblige (during fall and winter seasons). The modern kitchen is complete with a chef-quality gas range, microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator with filtered water. An extra full-size refrigerator is available in the garage. Prepare your meals, you guessed it, as you watch for dolphin. There is plenty of server ware and dishes for meals whether inside or out. Love wine? There is a wine refrigerator in the home for your use. Serve your meals on the expandable dining room table inside which seats 8-10 or the expandable dining room table outside which also seats 8-10\. Wherever you choose to dine, you will enjoy the beautiful view of the river. We mustn't forget technology! There are multiple large-screen, smart TVs throughout the home. High speed fiber-optic powers the WIFI with boosters to ensure access throughout the home. Outside is just as amazing as the inside. Imagine reflecting on your day with your family or friends as you sit in comfort on the dock on the river. You will quickly be drawn in by the life on the water. Dolphin make their morning and dinner appearance almost daily while the underwater fish light attracts numerous fish species to view or take up a seat on the edge of the dock and cast your line and reel in your big catch of the day! If a rain shower passes by, take cover under the large Tiki Hut just steps away on the patio or you may choose to wait it out under the covered patio area with the comfy cushioned chairs. You may decide to relax in the heated pool or in the hot tub or around the propane fire pit. This home is conveniently located to multiple excellent restaurants, favorite cocktail stops and shopping. There is really no reason to leave the Cape for an excellent meal or cocktail or excellent options for live music every single day. We have a list of some of our favorite places including mixologists for that special cocktail! Kids need to run off some energy? Cape Coral has a long list of impressive parks for families with children including the newly renovated Sunsplash Waterpark. If the beach is on your agenda, Ft Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva are all a short drive away with plenty of "shelling" opportunities. \*Discounts for extended stays We do need to share that we have a no smoking policy in the home. If you choose to smoke, please smoke outside away from the tiki and away from the house. The house has everything you could possibly need for a family vacation. Kitchen is fully stocked with with everything you need and the outdoor tiki kitchen area is amazing! Cooking breakfast outside on the flat grill is a must. We saw dolphins at the dock and caught a lot of fish right off the dock. Wonderful sunrise every morning, makes you never want to leave. The bedroom accommodations were perfect as well. Very comfortable beds in all rooms. The upstairs space was perfect for as well. Loved all the decor and attention to detail of the home. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the Boathouse to anyone traveling to Cape Coral area. ##### Aaron J. The home is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need for a weeks stay. The beds were really comfortable including two tempurpedic adjustable beds; a bonus for the travelers with sore backs! The kitchen has everything you could possible need, including spices, for your group's appointed chef's. The pool, hot tub, and tiki hut made for really fun swimming, games, and happy hour. Michelle responded immediately and resolved any hiccups we had. Our vacation was geared toward Spring Training which sadly didn't happen during our week due to the lock-out. Michelle offered a few family fun suggestions of things in the area to check out. We had a great week of sunshine, rest and relaxation, and family time. We celebrated my son's 11th birthday at the home. The home is beautifully decorated. Every little detail was well thought out. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials and then some. The beds and linens are so comfortable. The outdoor space was just as amazing as it was on the inside. Michelle was amazing and so helpful throughout our stay. This home is absolutely amazing and comes complete with everything a family would want. From a stocked kitchen with high end appliances, to a game room to keep the little and big kids entertained on cloudy days you'll never be looking for things to do. The pool and hot tub are amazing and waterfront location provides ample variety of fish for all anglers. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another vacation. The house was actually prettier and roomier than the pictures showed. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, I was sad to leave the kitchen. Communication with the owner was excellent, we couldn't have asked for more. Beds were super comfortable. There were games galore. View was spectacular. The accommodations were comfortable, appealing, and complete. We found everything that we needed already in the home. The Smarts even bought a port-a-crib and high chair for us to use prior to our arrival to assure we were comfortable. The home that the Smarts have masterfully created is not done justice by the photos provided. Lots of space and perfect location. Our family of 8 were not cramped at all and enjoyed every minute of being there. We will definitely be returning to this home. We had a group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids) for our spring break week at this great house. The house was very clean, organized and had a great layout. Plenty of room for all of us. The girls LOVED the upstairs room. We all couldn't believe how well stocked the house was with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were perfect, the large dock with adirondack chairs was where we spent a lot of time. We saw dolphins and manatee from the dock. The river was calm at certain points which made for nice kayaking. Cape Coral is not touristy at all which was nice for spring break week. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby. We drove to Fort Meyers for the beach and dinner a few times. We also spent 3 days on Sanibel and Captiva Islands at different beaches and restaurants. The house is about 30-50 minutes from gorgeous beaches depending on where you go but the drive there is nice so it doesn't seem long. Michelle was great at making sure we had everything we needed and answering questions. We had a perfect week and would highly recommend staying at this house! ##### Matt T. The house & view is stunning as soon as you open the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed waking to the beautiful sunrises over the river and the water views throughout the day. The house, patio and deck are accommodating for small & large groups alike with plenty of spaces & places to relax or play, depending on your mood. We love, love, love the Tiki Hut and swing seats. The kitchen is full stocked for the times you choose to stay in which we really appreciated it. It is by far the most equipped rental we have stayed at. The house is beautifully decorated and added to the experience. The colors are both relaxing and fun. Cape Coral is close enough to Fort Myers to get to a good beach when you want but we also enjoyed the less chaotic environment the town provides. There are plenty of restaurants, etc to choose from without the headache of Fort Myers. There is a very small beach in town, but I recommend making the drive to Sanibel or Fort Myers if you want to make a day of it. My son & husband enjoyed hours of fishing off of the pier as well as hired a private captain for a day. Both were great experiences. Overall, our first experience in Cape Coral and at the Boathouse was a great one and we look forward to returning! ##### Cari H. From the minute we arrived we knew we had found somewhere special!! The house has everything you could wish for comfortable furniture, cozy beds, well stocked kitchen & beautiful bathrooms. Outside the pool & hot tub were a definite favourite as was the dock where we spent many hours fishing & watching for dolphins. The house is very convenient for exploring SW Florida - Naples, Marco Island & Key West were just a few of the places we went to. Michelle & Jeff were really easy to communicate with & when we had a small problem with the AC it was fixed immediately & they gave us a voucher for a local restaurant as an apology.
