"The team members are phenomenal. Friendly, accommodating and helpful. They really are what makes the experience. The room was spacious and the shower was *chefs kiss*. The activities around the pool and nightly shows were a blast. It is a hilly property so they have carts to pick you up and take you to your destination if you don't want to be hiking everywhere. Great gym. The only issue we had was the wait times for dinner if you don't want to do the buffet. It’s first come, first serve but the wait was always 1 1/2 - 2 hours, even the day we showed up at 6:02 for service that started at 6 pm (this was after being told we couldn’t put our names on the list af 5:50 so we grabbed a drink and came back.) Overall, it was a great experience."

"We returned to Costa Rica for our babymoon after vacationing in the Arenal Volcano region for our honeymoon. Would definitely recommend this resort. It was our first time visiting a Riu, and we loved the grounds, the staff was great, and there were a good number of selections for food. Some reviews mention the lounge chair availability at the beach, but we had no problem getting spots down there. It is a few minute walk from the pool and restaurant area, but we enjoyed being able to enjoy a relaxing environment on the beach which was always less crowded. There is staff that will set up lounge chairs for you and servers do come down for drinks as well. Overall positive experience and would stay here again next time."

"A very new property conveniently close to the Liberian airport. My room was spacious, very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had everything you could need. I had dinner at the pool side bar/restaurant. The staff were very attentive and friendly. My meal was nice and well presented. I didn’t try the pool but it looked awesome. Breakfast was served buffet style and plentiful. The hotel staff were polite and very helpful. The airport shuttle great. I will definitely stay at the hotel again."

"We were lucky to find such a magical place to spend some time. The property is hard to leave as there are beautiful trees, flowers and birds to watch as you swim in or sit near the beautiful pool. Very easy access to many beaches each one being unique and providing a different experience. Several parks to explore rain forest in. As if all this isnt enough the best reason to choos this place are the people you will meet. Eladio and Vanessa are, quite simply, amazing and beautiful souls. I highly encourage you to go on tours with Eladio as he will take you to places and show you things that you will not find on your own. Will be returning! Pura Vida!!"
