"Overall I was disappointed with this hotel - it's not a 5 star hotel. The entrance and spa are certainly impressive, but the rooms are below standard. Grubby, look tired and the touch panel to my hotel room door fell off several times. I also had a water pressure issue when I wanted to shower on one of the days, which meant hot only came out. My partner also tried to arrange a birthday surprise for me which apparently was difficult and the staff were not particularly accommodating. The Spa facilities are very nice, with a lovely pool, steam room and sauna. however, it was very busy and we struggled to get two beds next to each other so just shared one. I would also suggest that the price for a massage is over priced, although my massage was decent, it wasn't worth what I paid. The gym is very small, and at one point had 5 people in it, which was over crowded. The gym has limited equipment, so not great for an avid gym goer. I wont be staying here again as much better 4 star hotels locally at the same if not cheaper price point and look far better."

"This was a very good hotel and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Lovely clean room and facing the courtyard as I requested rather than the street. Bed was comfortable and hotel quiet. The Metro station (Varosmarty utca; line 1) was about a 4 minute walk away on Andrassy Boulevard. The only negative is that the hotel is a mile from the Danube and feels a bit 'away' from the main action, but Deak Ferenc Ter is a 20 minute walk away - straight down Andrassy - or a few minutes on the Metro; so it's not too bad. If you want all the bars and tourist shops and so on, stay closer to the river. I visited the sauna once and sat out on the roof terrace. Had it to myself - it was great. The gym is small but reasonably well-equipped. Treadmill, elliptical machine, dumbbells. Very good hotel."

"The shower over bath for older people was difficult. No body lotion in dispenser, wifi was inconsistent. Breakfast was very good."

"I had a disappointing and somewhat unsafe experience during my stay. The shower floor was extremely slippery, which caused me to fall twice. I requested a shower mat from the front desk on two separate occasions, and each time I was told someone would bring it, but it never arrived. This lack of follow-through was frustrating and concerning, especially given the safety risk. On a more positive note, the breakfast was acceptable, but the options were limited and not very healthy. Overall, the lack of response from staff regarding a basic safety request significantly impacted my stay. I hope the hotel improves both its responsiveness and guest safety measures."

"The location was excellent! However, the breakfast buffet left something to be desired—we only ate there once. Please note that we visited in April and the building’s air conditioning was not yet turned on, so our room was quite warm. Even with the window open, it didn’t help much and it was very noisy. That said, the staff was friendly and welcoming."
