This place was the highlight of our trip! The room was spacious and clean. The property grounds were immaculate and gorgeous! The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! The pool overlooking the sea was awesome! Samara is a short drive away and the beach is within walking distance from the property! We highly recommend this place!

Our stay at this property was great. We were well cared for and had the perfect mix of fun and relaxation during our say. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A big thank you to Andre and Antonio for getting us settled. We were at the hotel during a local holiday (Annexation of Nicoya) and the restaurant staff went out of their way to tell us all about the holiday and many other cultural details. During our stay we were able to use the kayaks to go around the island during the day and go on the bioluminescence tour at night. Our guides Josue and Oliver were so knowledgeable and even though we had a lot of rain during our bioluminescence tour, Josue and Oliver’s great attitudes and wealth of knowledge made it just another part of the adventure. We stayed for two nights with our two sons (8 and 12) and it was just the right amount of time to enjoy the islands flora and fauna, hotel amenities, and get some relaxation in. The highlights of our trip were the Howler Monkeys right outside our Glamping tent, the amazing staff, and seeing lighting, bioluminescence, jumping fish, and firefly’s all at the same time. All that is to say that we highly recommend this hotel. :)

"We stayed 5 nights (2 adults and 3 kids - 12, 10, and 8). The property was beautiful and the house well taken care of. Lots of wildlife each day (the most we saw our entire trip was right out front). We were sad to leave and hope to return again in the future."

"A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic ..."
