"We flew in from out of state for our daughter’s wedding. The school house was a perfect place to stay! It was beautiful and practical. I was able to host a lovely bridal shower and the kids could get their wiggles out in the gym. The hosts were so generous with stocking board games and lots of equipment in the gym, as well as having instructions for using the player piano, organ, record player, and for viewing the historic glass items. On display Pictures and history through out helped us feel connected to the property. The location gave us beautiful country atmosphere with quick access to shopping and dining in Dallas. The history and attention to details in the school house made this a unique experience that I’d do again and recommend! Beds were comfortable, functional, and pretty. The hosts were very responsive to any questions i had. I suspect this vrbo will boom in popularity as word continues to get out."

The level of detail and care the owners put into designing and maintaining the home is immediately noticeable, and it creates such a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.We hosted a 80th birthday here with family flying in from over the country, and it could not have been a better fit. There is an incredible amount of space—everyone had their own areas to relax, while the central gathering space felt warm, inviting, and easily accommodated our group. The large kitchen, double refrigerators, and ample prep space made hosting seamless.The theater downstairs exceeded expectations, and the pond was such a special feature—we spent hours fishing and just enjoying the setting.The location is great, and the home was exceptionally clean. As a VRBO owner myself, I pay close attention to details like bed quality and bathroom cleanliness, and this home truly stands out. It’s clear the property is very well cared for.Highly recommend."

We honestly didn’t have to leave the property once. There was so much to do right there! Our kids, ranging from 5 to 18, had endless activities and never got bored which says everything. I also have to mention how responsive the hosts were. I had to reach out late one night with a question about the TV, and they responded within three minutes and had everything resolved immediately.
