« One South Place was clean, quiet, and felt like home from the moment I pulled up. Met a couple guests that were passing through the city and we shared many laughs out on the front porch area over some cold Belikins that were sold on site. « Main problem was ongoing construction of two new cottages only a few feet from the single existing cottage. Savy lodge owners care about client comfort and do not rent when renovating. Lighting along boardwalk poor and I tripped over a fresh 3 ft tall gravel mound ( construction) walking to our car in the dark. The manager did not show us the cottage upon our arrival as all other 13 places we stayed in Belize did. »

« Une expérience plutôt mauvaise. Nous sommes arrivés et la boîte à clé était vide, sans clés. Heureusement que la voisine était présente et a pu appeler la propriétaire, pour régler le problème, sinon nous aurions été seuls en pleine nuit au milieu d’un endroit que nous ne connaissions pas, qui plus est avec un bébé. La maison était plutôt sale, avec un éclairage très faible, aucune vitre et seulement des moustiquaires, qui malheureusement étaient pleines de trous. Le wi-fi n’a jamais fonctionné....

« We arrived in the evening with another couple (we rented both Casitas) and there was only a key for one of them. Contacted the owner and they sent someone to bring the key to the other Casita about an hour later. The Casita had not been cleaned and we had to wait for it to be cleaned before we could bring our bags in. Needless to say after a long day of travel sitting in the covered porch area waiting for hours was frustrating. The Casita and grounds were as described. The Casita's themselves...
