« Lovely apartments very close to town and everything you need but still peaceful. Loved the balcony with fly screens! TV is huge and works from the sofa or bed. The only things that could be improved are providing salt and pepper, more than two mugs and turning off the automatic light in the bathroom (it's just too bright if you need the loo in the night). »

« This is a great place, close to center with easy access to Seward, Kenai or up to Fairbanks. Tony is a responsive host with a lot of info about area. Their are plenty of restaurants nearby and a great walking path across the street. 10/10 »

« The property is too old & very tired. Needs lots of upgrades. Outside was dirty & unkept, rubbish bins overfilling thru out whole stay. There were mice in side. No coffee, or breakfast foods. . Unusual especially when you fly in late on a Sunday. People usually leave milk, bread, cereal & eggs etc. Two burners didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, some lights didn’t work. Was definitely too expensive for what it was. Although we appreciated you changing our bookings as we had to cancel Xmas...

« Loved Cartapo Cottage. Proper quiet, surrounded by gums, galahs, and open land. The night sky was unreal — completely dark and full of stars.Clean, comfortable, and everything was easy. Chloe & Oliver were genuinely warm and welcoming too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape! »

« We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom. »
