"The room was in quite poor condition. There was only lukewarm water, the heating was noisy, the tv didn’t work, the lights over the bed flashed and the toilet seat was loose. It was a very stylish hotel but it just needs some maintenance. The breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable "

"Was using this hotel as a stopover while driving to Sorrento from the UK. The hotel was immaculate and extremely modern and in great condition. It was very convenient for our stopover as right next to the motorway. They person on reception while we were there was extremely helpful. On the night we stayed the hotel restaurant wasn't open but he recommended another local restaurant which he booked for us, and his recommendation was spot on."

"Casa Di Vignola has all the modern amenities you need with all the old world charm you want including the original centuries old stone kitchen sink! The house is situated on a quiet piazza in Pergine Valdarno. We so enjoyed the people and proprietors of the village. From eating at the local restaraunt, Le Cantine, to shopping at the village store & Friday market, chatting with neighbors as walked to the water dispensing house to fill liters with cold, still or frizzante water, everyone we met was kind and friendly. Our host, Irene, took our stay at her casa from lovely to AMAZING when she stopped by to personally ensure all was well. During our chat, she volunteered to set up a 2 day itinerary of local sight, shops, events off the beaten path. And did she ever deliver! Beautiful scenic views, markets, Gelatateria Parco Carabè, and Az. Agricolala Le Fonte, which a Farm/Museum run by the Pinti family (our delightful tour gude, Sara, makes wonderful jams among othe delicacies). We hope to return the enchanting Casa Di Vignola."

"If you are looking for the perfect Tuscan experience, stay here! 6 of us stayed 2 months, with friends and family passing through. La Maesta being so amazing and feeling like home along with being in a small village, allowed for the feeling of living in Tuscany.Queen beds and a bathroom for each room made everyone comfortable. We cooked almost every night. In May we lit a fire at night and enjoyed the beautiful dining space while in June, we BBQ'd and ate outdoors. Watched a few movies in the theater room. Spent hours at the beautiful pool area.It is 1-1.5 hrs from all the towns you would like to visit. Train to Florence nearby made easy travel.Alessandra and Massimo were amazing and friendly. We loved them dearly by the time we left. Don't skip the Tuscan Feast! You will eat well! Be sure to read Alessandra's book (Amazon) "A Life in Tuscany" before you come.
