Reasonable price for this location and size of property, it looks a bit old but renovated and clean. Kitchen has all we need. When we were there the lift was not working, it's a bit difficult to get luggage up the narrow stairs. There are restaurants on the ground floor it's a bit noisy at night. Overall, for this price and location I do feel this is a good choice. Check in is easy though it's a bit of walk to the property in the rainy day on the stony roads in Brussels. However, this apartment is walkable to the train station that is convenient for us travelling to other city and the airport.

Fantastic location! Just be aware that elevator only goes to 3rd floor, so if you apt is on 4th floor, the stairs are very hard. The bed is comfortable but the room could use a little fixing and a little atmosphere but i would rent it again. You can’t beat it

Wonderful, better than expected!
As a group of 5 girls on a short trip to Brussels, this apart-hotel could not have been more ideal!!! We loved the super spacious 3 story loft-like apartment we had, the location is just super super central and perfect and near everything. You do hear some noise from the street as there’s a lot of bars nearby. Really great kind and helpful service, seems to be a family run business and u can feel it from the way they seem to really take guests comfort to heart.

Centrally located, but long-term construction across the street, as well as noise from the office below, could be problematic to light sleepers. Access to a refridgerator, oven, stovetop, and coffee machine was a plus.

Great Location!
The location was awesome- but the windows were cracked and there was no chance of sleeping on Saturday night with loud drunk people in the streets until 6am. It sounded like they were right in the apartment- but I suppose that is expected when you are right in the middle of everything. The apartment was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and she stayed late to accommodate our late booking.

The service and organization are perfect. Very easy check in and check out. The apartment is clean and very well located, two steps from the grand place. However the beds are very unconfortable with old mattress and tinge apartment is overall quite small. Still good value for money for that lcoatiin

Nice place to stay near Grand Palace.
Very nice and clean. I love the back garden area where we enjoyed our drink. Good value for money. There is a cooking facilities so you can save money on food. Tea and coffee maker and other cookeries available. Very nice place to stay on low budget.

Different... but it works
The idea is original enough: a central location for picking up your key and an apartment not too far away in a normal city centre apartment building. I've given 'service' a 3, not because there's anything wrong with the service but because it's not really relevant: this isn't a hotel or even an aparthotel. As for the apartment itself, absolutely fine, although the building was a bit shabby and the lift a bit idiosyncratic. Neighbourhood very central, which is great for some, less so for others as it was a bit noisy. But overall, this is great value for money.

My family and I stayed here for three nights when I had a business trip in town. We loved how close it was to the main plaza. However, the hotel entrance is on an alley that unfortunately was a quite popular hang out for (loud) drunk people and/or homeless. There was a well-used mattress on the ground across the alley from the apartment door, and the pungent smell of urine and marijuana was at times overpowering. The apartment itself is quite nice, but has very steep stairs which were difficult for my young kids (both under 6) to manage. There were also gaps in the railing that would have been disastrous if they had fallen through them. We would have also appreciated soap in the bathroom. So all in all, this was a nice hotel, but perhaps better suited to young people without small kids, who are more interested in Brussels' night life, rather than getting a quiet night's sleep with young kids.

Nice place, but not quite right for my family
Our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed how central the apartment was to the grand plaza, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We didn't appreciate the drunk/homeless people sleeping/passed out in the alley just feet from our front door, nor the pungent smell of urine and marijuana at night as we returned home. I was also a little disappointed that there was no soap in the bathroom or kitchen (though there was dishwashing liquid). We were travelling with young children and while the apartment was very spacious, it was not ideal for a family with young children. The apartment has 3 levels, and the stairs leading to each floor are incredibly steep, with wide gaping spaces that a small child could easily fall through. So it might be a better location for families with older kids who can handle stairs easily.

Location of the office is NOT the location of the apartment. Upon reaching, someone at the reception will bring you to your apartment - we walked about 8 mins to our apartment from the office. Apartment was very central. Great location if you want to be near the square , and also stay out for late night drinks. However , it also means if you decide to get an early night, you will also get the noise from the street!

Apartment turned out to be 10 mins walk away from the main address advertised but still in a very central location (close to Marche de l'Agora). Clean with all the basic facilities. Some noise from the street below at night but this is expected for such a central location.

The hotel was located just one block off the Grand Place square and was an entire apartment with bedroom, living room, dining table and kitchen. I wish we had been staying for more than one night! Great value, though.

Great place to stay extremely close to town squa
Location was excellent, apartment was nice and clean and very roomy. Just steps from the grand place and gallerias. I highly recommend this place to stay. Right in city center so it was loud, but that is expected in any big city. Also there isn't on site parking, but parking is available nearby in and underground garage for €15 every 24 hours.

Owners of this location are nice . Took us from the office to the apartment and done a walk through with us . The location to downtown is great the only issue is the bar down stairs is a bit loud on certain nights ..

The apartments are in an amazing location, 2 minutes away from the Grand Place. Staff was very helpful and provided us with recommendations for sites to visit and places to eat/drink. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation for our visit to Brussels!

Good location and clear map and instructions for out of hours check in once you found the email address yourself as not clear when first booked. Procedure was complicated! Was told someone would be in office to leave keys for departure and when not there, had to go back to flat, rescue code from rubbish as mobile was unanswered. It took 90 mins for an answer; by then we were long gone and it added 20 mins to our departure time! Was told that the cable would be fixed for TV and this didn't happen and no communication re this. Dishwasher had been left on full of dishes from previous tenants and it hadn't cleaned the dishes so had to clean them all by hand with no plug and no sink bucket! Only small things, but made it not as good as it could have been.

Perfect location - cool, spacious apartment
Great reception check in. Very friendly and spoke perfect English so was a breeze. Apartment was brilliant for 5 guys to enjoy the awesome pubs of Brussels. Looking forward to coming back in the future and would definitely look to stay here again. All in all a very good experience.

The apartment was nice and huge for five people, and very well furnished. Very close to grand place, train station and other touristy neighbourhoods. The lady on the reception was also very helpful in guiding us regarding places we should visit. However, please remember that if you are coming to collect keys for your apartment at out of office hours, do let them know asap, so they can give you the required information beforehand. Otherwise, you may feel very stressed and get a bad impression for an otherwise very nice apartment.

We were a little disappointed by this appartment: first we didn't know we had to pick up the key in a different location than the appartment (it wasn't easy walking 5-10 minutes in the old town with our luggages, 2 babies and a stroller!) then we were expecting 2 bedrooms and realised the second bed was actualy the coach. Finally, the appartement wasn't very clean. But the location was great and the kitchen well furnished.

An interesting experience...
The Rent By Night apartments do exactly what it says on the tin! The e-mail communication from them was personal and welcoming and the instructions were very clear. We didn't expect to have to walk from the office (where we collected our keys) to another location five minutes away, but when we got there, the apartment was clean and warm. We only wanted to use the apartment like a hotel so the kitchen and dining area were surplus to our requirements although I could see that they would be useful for someone on a long-term stay. We therefore felt that the rate that we paid was quite high for what we got out of it (nine hours worth!).

Plenty of room, great location
Three of us stayed in this apartment and had plenty of room. Compared to most tiny European hotel rooms this place is huge. The kitchen allowed us to cook meals and there is a grocery store nearby. The bed and pull-out couch were comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived. The free internet was handy. The location of the apartment is very good, close to the Grand Place and all the sights. My complaints: tiny bathroom... I joked to my friends that you can use the toilet, shower and brush your teeth all at the same time. I found it inconvenient to have to pick up the keys at one office and then walk 10 minutes to the apartment. The map/directions given to us was incorrect and told us to make a turn in the wrong direction. Overall, this is a good place to stay if you don't want to be in a tiny room and would rather cook some meals instead of eating at restaurants the whole time you're in Brussels.

bruxelles est une ville très agréable
petit séjour entre amis, alors l'appart très sympa, très bien situé, mais mal isolé on entend les voisins comme si ils étaient dans l 'appartement avec nous... la rue est très très bruyante en week end . Dans l'ensemble bon petit séjour.
