The house is older but well kept and has everything needed. Communication with the host was great and Michael checked in with us during our stay. « We had a great week here as a family of four. The place was spotless and ready for us to settle right in. The lighted path to the water was pure magic. And our kiddos loved the swing set in between beach adventures. There was no shortage of inspirational signs to remind us we were living our best “life at the lake.” All in all, it was a cozy and comfortable home base for our South Shore adventures. »

We’ve stayed at this property during the winter & loved it so much that we had to come back during the summer. We brought our boats & used the launch just down from the house. « Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies. »

Last night we stayed we had a spike buck come with in 30 yrds of us at the campfire. Super cool to finish off our wonderful stay. Sorry though, didnt take any pictures of the back yard »

« Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups »
