« We thought this would be an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas around Skipton. The cottage was way more than that. It was clean, well-eqipped and had everything you could need. Cosy, great countryside views all around, plenty of hot water, a roaring fire and peace and quiet. The garden was dog proof (for our 2 anyway). The owner Rebecca was delightful and very helpful. « What a treat this place is. We had an amazing nights stay only sorry we didn’t book for longer. The den was beautiful well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen accessories were great. The surrounding area was beautiful and meeting and feeding the alpacas was a special experience. The hosts were extremely pleasant and made us feel at ease. Highly recommended. »

« A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away. »
