"We enjoyed our trip and stay at Hotel Heron. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful. The only criticism from my husband was he missed having a comfortable reading chair or coffee make in the room. He had to go down to the lobby to find coffee and comfortable seating in order to read before the rest of us woke up and got moving. We enjoyed watching Alexandria’s birthday fireworks from the rooftop bar area- a big bonus for sure! "

"While the reception area is small and quaint, this location is situated in a very convenient location on the river, where plenty of restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The spa and pool area are attractive and calming and the rooftop restaurant, Moonraker, has a wonderful view of the river and city. The property is clean and well maintained, the room was quite nice, and the staff and service were outstanding (save for one receptionist with a hyphenated name and skull tattoo on her chest, who is curt and borderline rude). Commendations for Nya at the spa, Donald and the young lady from the pool area, Executive Chef Barry, Yana in reception, and Janet from the Pendry bar. The bell staff were also to be commended. Almost everyone went out of their way to ensure my stay was accommodating, my needs were anticipated and met, thus my expectations as a guest were exceeded. Details were not overlooked and I had a great interactions with 99% of staff. It was a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to return. "
