The condo really was a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Blowing Rock and an easy 10 minute drive to the Moses Cone Park with its great walking trails. « This was a cute little rental that was as described. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and very responsive. I was impressed to learn it’s been in service for over 20 years. Loved the clubhouse and general atmosphere— reminded me of family vacations as a child in the 1990s… so quaint!! Reception and WiFi is not terrific so it was a great opportunity to play games as a family and take to the outdoors. We plan to return next year. Thank you!!! »

« What I’m writing is not the fault of the property—they don’t control the weather—but just information for future travelers so they can plan better than we did.This is really more of a winter resort. We stayed in the summer during an unprecedented heat wave. There was one tiny window AC unit and a big ceiling fan. Both worked great but not sufficient for the space. No prob, we thought we’ll open windows at night when it cools off…except there’s no window upstairs where it’s hot. Just a patio door...
