The Inn at the Tides

"Very nice room with a view of the bay and enough space to set up a playpen for our baby. The breakfast coupons for the restaurant down the street were nice, with great view of the bay and some sea lions. My wife got stung by a wasp while watching a sea lion, though, which was nobody’s fault but caused us problems nonetheless. And crossing Highway 1 on foot to get to the restaurant felt a bit risky every time. (The hotel has a restaurant, so not totally clear why they don’t do breakfast there.) Worst experience was when we were having car trouble and I went to the front desk to ask if they had a place where I could plug in our car-battery charger so we could charge our battery. The guy at the desk didn’t get up from his seat in a back room and basically talked to me over his shoulder and seemed weirdly dismissive and I think he didn’t believe I was a guest, though I said my room number and he could’ve checked the registration and seen the copy of my driver’s license and the car we had on file with them. Instead he told me they’d send someone to our room, and when I got back to my room my wife was on the phone because I guess they called to confirm that we were guests. Felt rude and insulting considering the money we spent to stay there."

"This gem of a property was exactly what we were seeking for our getaway. The charm of the 1860s home, old growth Monterey cypress and eucalyptus groves with the peek-a-boo view of the Bay was magical. Each morning and evening we were treated to a parade of deer, quail and turkeys while the pelicans roosted in the tree grove up the hill. Our pups enjoyed the enclosed yard as we sipped wine and read books. An incredibly relaxing oasis! The bed was very comfortable with memory foam topper and the kitchen well-provisioned. Only feedback would be to trim up the trees for even better Bay viewing!"

"Beautiful location and home. It was quiet, with plenty of bright light from windows and all rooms had doors to the decks. It was clean and cozy and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, all three of us agreed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, especially the coffee for our mornings on the deck. Savannah checked in with us several times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and check in was super easy. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend."
Bodega Bay - Sonoma Coastline

"We loved the house and loved the safe fenced in yard for the dogs. It's beautiful and peaceful. The host was great, she was very nice and easy to communicate with. It was an easy drive to Dillon Beach (off leash beach). Our dogs loved it. Wrights Beach was also fun for them. If you don't have dogs, you can walk out the back gate to the dunes and beach. We would love to come back again."

"This house was everything and more. The gated property was 100% what we wanted and needed with our grandchildren and our dog: Jodi was awesome with correspondence and had all the information we needed for the trips we wanted to book. Fishing and Horseback riding. We would 100% rent again. Darling house with plenty of sleeping area."
