Très bel établissement, le staff est gentil et serviable, la vue est magnifique et le petit petit-déjeuner est bon. Je recommande le restaurant, oubliez pas de réserver. Au vu du prix de la nuit, je m'attendais a une meilleure infrastructure - poingee de fenêtre classée et mauvaise étanchéité de la douche qui transforme la salle de bain en piscine en peu de temps.

Friendly happy staff, ok breakfast, a little pricey for what it is overall. Room small and single glazed windows, walls paper thin and view of a ramp and bins. Would recommend to book a sea view room.

I ended up choosing this hotel because no hotels in nearby Invercargill seemed to be available. (I got the suite - the last room available at the time.) The manager was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. (My only complaint is that the 1-hour window (8am-9am) for breakfast was too short.)

Stayed here en route to a stay on Stewart Island. Wonderful views over the sea. Very convenient for getting the Stewart Island ferry. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast to start the day. Thank you for getting our New Zealand trip off to a great start.

Ingen bemanning vid ankomst. Ingen restaurang eftersom det var en måndag. Det framgick inte att man inte kunde äta på Oyster Cove . Reception gav oss en tid att äta på måndag kväll men det var fel. Det fanns en restaurang öppet på måndag i Bluff. Bra att veta. En personal fick servera och laga frukost till flera gäster. Inte hållbart , och inte rättvist mot personal eller besökare..

The service was prompt and friendly. The facility was clean and the location was spectacular, at the oceans edge. There are walking paths to explore just steps from the hotel. Breakfast was included which was good.

Location was good for a 1 night stop. Checking in was easy. Downside was no dining options as most places were closed on a Wed night. Took their advice and had (very good) takeaway fish n chips from Stella’s and they allowed us to eat in their dining/living room. Breakfast was a downer, kitchen staff have no idea how to cook eggs, so suggest they don’t attempt it but instead provide some other options.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Bluff and the view is great. There is also a nice hiking trail along the coast starting at the hotel. Lands End really should not be called hotel but bed and breakfast because only breakfast is served and the only restaurant next door was closed ( permanently???). So we had to get take- out from a Chinese restaurant. Chinese food can be excellent- this one was not. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very small. The reception area needs to be improved. An ironing board should not be part of the furniture. Breakfast was basic but ok. Eggs were cooked to order.

When small and cozy aren’t always a good thing
This place was a little disappointing, great setting and staff friendly but the room and ensuite very small. Struggled to find space for our suitcases. Bathroom very small and a little rundown although shower was lovely and hot and torrential 😊 which was nice. Sea view is nice and the room cozy. Not a lot of choice locally in Bluff if you’re looking for somewhere to eat and during our stay the one nice restaurant next door to the hotel wasn’t open. The included breakfast downstairs was okay although you were left guessing what was actually on offer, a menu on the table would be useful especially as the lady cooking and providing breakfast did not speak very good English. All in all an okay stay but for the price expected more. This place could be fabulous if a little better run and targeted for those just wanting a weekend away.

I recently stayed at Lands End in Bluff and was delighted by the quaint and comfortable rooms, which offered fantastic views. The location in a quiet part of town significantly enhanced the peacefulness of my stay. However, I encountered some confusion regarding the breakfast options; it was unclear whether it was included in the stay, which left us a bit perplexed in the morning. Additionally, travelers should note that the driveway can be quite steep, especially in rainy conditions, with the entrance located at the rear, so caution is advised. An unexpected rule was the prohibition of alcohol in the rooms, which seemed peculiar considering wine glasses were provided. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was enjoyable, with the tranquility and views being the highlights.

Lovely young hosts, nothing was to much trouble, helped us out when our luggage was lost at Airport, some great walks around the area, sea views and lovely Restaurant with Sea views next door, perfect for a couple of days stay especially if heading over to Stewart Island.

A great boutique hotel that really is at lands end. Fantastic views over the water. Hosts were very helpful and the restaurant next door was also very good. Breakfast was just ok.

Terrible experience There was only one staff member and she did not speak any English There was no food except takeaway on a Tuesday in Bluff - website stated dinning was available. Shower drain flooded. Breakfast only included eggs - nothing with them. Expected better.

Property is in need of updating. Moved us to a different room as the one we were supposed to be in had a mouse. Owner and staff spoke very little English. Ventilation in bathrooms while showering was open the window which was not only freezing but you could be seen from the outside.

Very cute place to stay at the "Lands End" feeling like you're at the edge of the world. The best part of this place is Andy! He was so friendly and welcoming for the entirety of our stay! Would definitely recommend Land's End Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in this area!

The only drawback was that staff was also managing the adjacent restaurant and lounge/bar. Had to contact person at restaurant to come to reception to let us in. Room was clean, but small (as advertised). Meals at restaurant were excellent.

Lovely location and service was amazing. We were disappointed we didn’t get an ocean view room (we were at the back of the hotel, with a view of a fence & the washing line) considering the cost and length of stay - there was no mention of this when we booked.

Andy was great. Quick check in. Brekky was good and the hotel was accommodating to our early departure ensuring we still had brekky. Beds were comfortable. Limited food choices though in Bluff itself. And do not eat at the best fish n chip shop cause it ain’t the best at all!!!!

The hotel is beautiful situated and the host were extremely friendly and amenable, even to other guests that were overly demanding, the hotel is well appointed with up to date fixtures and fittings. Views are magnificent and breakfast was well done.
