"We had such a great stay at this cottage! The property was beautiful and clean, and the lake was perfect for swimming. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun getaway. There’s also a small island nearby with little beaches and shallow water. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. We’d definitely love to come back!"

"I waited on purpose to write this review. I was very frustrated and upset during our visit. We were asked to leave the wood from the owner - We saw the chopped wood under deck which we left alone. We also saw 2 sealed bags of wood we assumed were a pay it forward from the last visitor. We used and replaced the bags of wood again assuming it was a pay it forward by the previous visitors as something nice - however I was contacted by the owner and told I was a thief for using his wood. He had been watching us from the cameras during our stay. We never used the wood under the deck which was clearly chopped and ready for use, we used the 2 bags of wood left on the porch. We were being watched the whole time with the cameras on the deck pointing into the cottage that has no window coverings. VRBO states that the camera is not used while we are there, however the owner contacted me to call me a thief, which I am not! I felt very creeped out that we were being spied on during our stay and will not be recommending this place to anyone.Thank you"

"We had a fantastic stay at this charming waterfront cottage. The space was spotless, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was impressively well stocked, the fire table was a cozy touch for evenings, and the dog run was a great bonus for our pup. It’s clearly a very pet friendly spot, which made it feel even more like home.The real standout was the waterfront. Crystal clear, calm, and perfect for swimming. We spent most of our days lounging by the water, soaking in the quiet and the views. The area is peaceful, with friendly but quiet neighbours, and the location is ideal. Just far enough from Ottawa or Gatineau to feel like a proper escape without being too remote. The host was helpful and quick to respond to any questions, and the place was easy to find with no issues at all. We’d highly recommend this place and are already talking about coming back."

"Had a great time with some friends for a weekend. Clean place with AC/Indoor Fireplace, amazing lake, good firepit!Only reason I couldn't go 5 stars is the watercrafts provided were all face up in the water and nearly full of water. I'm an avid paddler so luckily I brought my own, but had I planned on using theirs it would have been an awful experience getting them going especially without water shoes. "

"Accomodations had everything we needed in the kitchen, basic spices like salt and pepper, spray on oil, all pots pans and trays. Had bbq equipment as well.Few mosquitoes thanks to lack of stagnant water and the river (lakes have more mosquitoes!). WiFi worked very well throughout. Be aware that cell reception is very poor and you'll be relying on the wifi.Loved our stay, might try to book with Ram next year as well! "

"What a beautiful cottage! Plenty of comfortable sleeping accomodations, very well equipped kitchen, and confy cozy gatherings areas. Perfect location to enjoy and share among collegues and friends. Despite the rain, we were able to relax, chat, play games and enjoy lots of laughter. Amazing!!"
