"Clean cheaper place to stay in Halifax. Breakfast is not great. Bed was acceptable but not great. Basically a one or two night hotel but don’t expect anything more than a place to sleep. There is a pool if you have kids and it appears to be in good shape but I didn’t use it so really nothing to add there."

"Woke up in the middle of the night with a mouse running up my chest. This place is kind of infested with mice - they’re in the common room, in multiple dorm rooms so switching rooms isn’t even a viable option, and they seem to travel through tunnels in the walls, leaving scratching noises all night and droppings everywhere. There doesn’t seem to be anything that can be done by them - the front desk just gave me some dryer sheets and said the smell repels them apparently. The kitchen is also near unusable and the common bathroom shower doesn’t seem to know the concept of hot running water - the closest I got was a notch warmer than cool. Front desk are manned by nice students though, it’s not their fault their lodgings are long overdue for a 21st century renovation. "

"Overall, everything was good. However, the hotel was undergoing interior renovations, which made some facilities unavailable. In addition, there were scratching noises in the room, as if a mouse or something else was inside the walls, which made it difficult to sleep."
