« The Finegold Nugget provided delightful, well-appointed accomodations (more than expected, with the assortment of dishes and flatware also provided). Beautiful room and beautiful grounds. We had a very relaxing weekend, which was the goal! If I had any complaint, it might be that the mini-fridge in the room was more mini than I was expecting. We filled it up! And as a suggestion, possibly get some mini ice trays to put in the freezer so the guests could have ice available if they wished. ...

« The cabin was in a nice location with easy access to Shaver Lake. The wood fireplace warmed the house nicely, be sure to bring your own wood and matches. There are three bedrooms the downstairs queen bed is comfortable, the upstairs queen bed was really hard to sleep on and the room with the bunkbeds was not comfortable for teens so we would recommend only for small children. The house was nice and clean and was a nice place to play in the snow. »

You can tell the owners really put a lot of thought into their property and love hosting. There were so many amazing trails. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and explored more. The cottage could not have been more perfect for my little family of 4. My little ones are two and five and had so much fun exploring and playing around the property.We will definitely be back. »

« The tiny cabin in Shaver was lovely. Everything was pretty much exactly as advertised, and the location was off the main road and easy to find. Restaurants and convenience stores were just a short distance and passwords and codes were provided. The fireplace worked perfectly and made the space feel cozy. The mattress was a little lumpy and the sheets and blankets probably could have used a good wash, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. »
