« The cabin was really cool and in a great location. It was clean and cozy. The catch and release pond was amazing. We caught Brim and Bass using nightcrawlers. It was a lot of fun to do that with my daughter. My only complaint was the lack of wash rags, towels, and blankets. The listing says it sleeps 8, which it does with the futon and couch. However, there was not enough extra blankets. There was bed sheets, just not enough blankets. Also, no wash clothes at all, no hand towels, and only a few...

« Unique lodging experience! Very clean and pretty site on a lake. WiFi excellent and very quiet location. We didn’t eat on-site and had most of our meals in Tuscaloosa. Excellent location between Birmingham airport and Univ. of Alabama where we saw Georgia win a close one against Crimsom Tide. »

« This property is as described. It is a 1950's era old farmhouse that borders the national forest. What does it have plenty of: character, solitude, and peace and quiet.
It truly is in the middle of nowhere and that is a blessing.
What it doesn't have: internet or good cell service. That also isn't necessarily a bad thing. It does have basic satellite TV service and a DVD player.
We were well pleased with the stay! »
