"The hotel used to be a great little stay with friendly staff. It has now been taken over and is staffless. You get text an entry code last minute. No bar no breakfast facilities any more. We will not be staying again. No hot water in the bathroom"

"We stayed in a room on a Friday night that was at the front of the hotel directly over looking Ferensway.....straight across the road was a bar that stayed open until 6am playing loud music, neither of us got much sleep."

"Checked in for 1night as we travelled to attend a family funeral, upon entering the room the curtain was shut and the smell of mould of very overpowering. Opened the curtain to be greeted with alot of black mould all over the window the curtain and underneath the table, i spoke to staff on reception about this as my partner has chronic asthma and they moved us rooms very helpful. We moved rooms and went straight out to eat as we had been travelling all day, we went back to the room later on to notice this room also had mould in a broken window lock and a broken table, body hair left in shower! Spoke to the main desk again and they offered us a new ropm it was 11.30pm and we had to be up crack of dawn for a funeral! I saod no the room will do for 1 night as we were so tired, during the night it was so noisy people shouting. Spoke with the manager the next morning and was given a full refund as 2 rooms were disgusting. Staff were helpful but hotel is outdated and mouldy, pictures do not match reality it was like a place they house ex cons!"
