"As much as possible, stay away from rooms fronting Calle Rodriguez Arias as youth gangs congregate there starting at 11pm and staying till 6am. They get so loud with all their shouting and loud talking that it will ruin your sleep. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay."

"It was a great hotel with close proximity to the downtown and Casco Viejo. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and good size. The customer service was excellent!! We stayed at the Barcelo a few blocks down and felt Hesperia was. A better hotel with a better price. We will definitely come back when we visit again. "

"The hotel is welcoming, up to date and clean. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage since our rooms were not yet ready, and head into Bilbao for the afternoon. The day of our departure we stored our bags again since we had a late flight. There is a nice restaurant on site, and a shuttle bus to the airport. It’s not fancy but a good option for travelers who need to be near the airport. "

Parking was extremely easy, but you must park outside the hotel first and get directions on where to park… It is just a couple minutes down the road in a private parking We at the parking was great and hotels the service was great! The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The only issue we came across was our shower drain was not working properly. We told the front desk who was willing to have the handyman come back to our room, even though it was a Sunday, but we decided not to worry with it."

"Our room was very clean and spacious with comfortable bed and good tea/coffee-making equipment. The bathroom had plenty of space for 2 people. Loved the toiletries provided with product type clearly labelled. Also pleased to see that they didn’t change our towels because we hung them up (too many other hotels ignore their own requests). The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were bars and restaurants just outside the door and it was a short walk to the river. Our car was parked in a safe parking station about 10 mins walk away. "
