This thoughtfully decorated historic home has contemporary furnishings. The interior features a cozy living room with a twin reclining sofa, recliner chairs, Smart TV and charging stations for electronics. Close to the river trail and plenty of restaurants and shops to spend an entire weekend and never get in a car (altho we did in order to explore the forest trails and lakes south of Bend). But when “home” we racked up the steps exploring town. The houses are fairly close together on that street so on Fri/Sat nights when the neighboring short term rental was filled we did have some rowdy or loud talking neighbors who woke us up. But no big deal and expected for where we were. There is also a train nearby but we only heard it once and not at night. Very clean property, small shady backyard perfect for taking a break for activity and enjoying the weather. The host was communicative and very nice to leave a birthday note and gift for my husband.
